Child Advocacy Center of Aiken County seeks a Development Manager

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a specific strategy.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Identify partnership opportunities
  • Develop new relationships in an effort to grow funding opportunities
  • Write and manage all government and foundation grants
  • Maintain all grant records for audit purposes
  • Identify new individual, foundation, corporate, and government prospects
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement a high donor program for CAC
  • Maintain existing business
  • Think critically when planning to ensure project success
  • Other duties as requested

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 – 4 years of prior industry-related business development experience
  • Experience in grant writing at the federal, state, and local levels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Must pass a criminal background check and a central registry check
  • Reports to the executive director of the agency
  • Focused and goal-oriented
