Program Highlight – Dorchester Kids Care Program

Summerville, SC – The Dorchester Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) offers 3 different Kids Care Programs year-round. The Kids Care Programs assist DCAC families in providing essential items for the children receiving services at the center. These programs are an important service offered by DCAC because many of the caregivers utilizing DCAC services have taken in a relative or family member unexpectedly to help avoid a child from entering the foster care system. Gov. McMaster Signs the Child Abuse Response Protocol Act

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Governor Henry McMaster was joined today by Lieutenant Governor Pamela S. Evette, members of the General Assembly, and children advocacy leaders for a ceremonial bill signing of S.229, the Child Abuse Response Protocol Act. Spartanburg CAC Receives Community Grant

Spartanburg, SC – The Children’s Advocacy Center of Spartanburg, Cherokee, & Union Counties has been awarded a Community Grant from the Chapman Cultural Center! With this grant, the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) will be incorporate more art into therapy sessions with the children they serve.
